DRDE has announced a total of 14 JRF positions, divided across two major disciplines:

DRDE JRF 2025: Stipend & Fellowship

Selected candidates will be eligible for a monthly stipend of ₹37,000/-, initially for two years as Junior Research Fellows (JRF). Based on performance and as per DRDO rules, the fellowship can be upgraded to Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for an additional three years.

Eligibility Criteria for DRDE JRF Recruitment 2025

Age Limit:

• Upper Age Limit: 28 years as on the date of interview.

• Relaxation:

  • SC/ST candidates: 5 years

  • OBC candidates: 3 years

  • Other categories as per DRDO rules

Educational Qualifications:

For JRF – Life Sciences:

• First Class M.Sc. in one of the following:

  • Life Sciences, Zoology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Toxicology, Immunology, or related subjects.

• Must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS) or GATE.

• Provisional or final degree certificate must be available.

For JRF – Chemistry:

• First Class M.Sc. in:

  • Chemistry (Physical, Analytical, Organic, Inorganic) or relevant specialization.

• Must have qualified CSIR-UGC NET (JRF/LS) or GATE.

• Degree/provisional certificate should be produced.

Selection Process: Walk-in Interview at DRDE

Candidates will be selected through direct walk-in interviews held at DRDE, Gwalior. The date and discipline-wise schedule is as follows:

• Life Sciences Interview: 16th July 2025 (09:30 AM)

• Chemistry Interview: 17th July 2025 (09:30 AM)

Documents Required at the Interview:

• Hard copy of the duly filled application form

• Passport-size photograph

• Self-attested copies of:

  • Degree and mark sheets

  • Experience certificates (if any)

  • CSIR-UGC NET / GATE certificate

  • Caste certificate (if applicable)

• All original certificates for verification
