Supreme Court Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

The Supreme Court of India has distributed the total 26 vacancies as follows:

In addition to the basic pay, employees will receive allowances and benefits as per government norms.

SCI Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01 April 2025)

• Senior Court Assistant-cum-Programmer: 18 to 35 years

• Junior Court Assistant-cum-Programmer: 18 to 30 years

Age Relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories as per government rules:

• SC/ST/OBC

• PwD

• Ex-Servicemen

• Dependents of Freedom Fighters

Educational Qualification & Experience

For Senior Court Assistant-cum-Senior Programmer:

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology
  OR MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science

  • Minimum Experience: 6 years in computerization

• Alternatively, BCA/B.Sc. CS with 60% marks + 7 years’ experience

• Law degree (LLB) preferred as an additional qualification

For Junior Court Assistant-cum-Junior Programmer:

• B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT) OR BCA/B.Sc CS

• Degree must be from a recognized university/institution

Supreme Court Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for both positions will be conducted in four stages, ensuring only the best candidates are selected:

1. Written Test (Objective)

   • Subjects: English Language, General Awareness, Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude

   • Qualifying Marks: Minimum 50%

2. Technical Aptitude Test (Objective)

   • Focuses on programming fundamentals and core IT knowledge

   • Minimum 50% required

3. Practical Aptitude Test

   • Real-time tasks involving programming/problem-solving

   • Only up to 10x the number of vacancies will be shortlisted

4. Personal Interview

   • 3x the number of vacancies will be called for interview round

Each round is qualifying in nature and candidates must secure at least 50% marks to move to the next stage.

Exam Centres for Supreme Court Recruitment 2025

Applicants can choose two preferred cities as their examination centers from the following options:

• Delhi/NCR

• Mumbai

• Kolkata

• Hyderabad

• Bengaluru

Note: The final exam center may be changed by the authority for administrative reasons.
